First Make sure you really need the fuel pump.
It's an easy job on CSE. Open the hatch. fold the seats forward a little. Remove the flooring. I think 2 Torx 25 screws sort of sunk in the carpet. On the drivers side forward you will see a metal cover with an allen screw in it. Remove the allen. Next remove the trim piece that sort of under the seat back. Just a few Torx 25. Pull off the plastic cover. Unplug the electrical connection on pump. If its the original pump you will need to remove a little cover over the fuel lines. Then spray a little penetrating or light oil on the lines were they enter the pump. Carefully remove the lines. Too hard a pull and youll bust the tip off. A very big Pain in the *** to repair. Now unscrew the ring and the pump will come out with some twists and curves. When you put the new pump in put the big O-ring in first then the pump. Match the line up on the cover with the line on the tank. Then back together same way.
