It's time once again for a new set of tires. I've decided not to get aftermarket rims with summer tires and keep my stock ones for winter tires.
I'm looking for advice and or comments on tires to help me make a decision on a purchase.
This time around, I want to get all season radials and step up from a 195-65-15 to a 205-60-15 tire. In the past, on the various Saab's I've owned, I always went with H rated tires. The best ones I've had so far, were Toyo proxy fz4. However, I've also tried dunlop, pirelli, and yokohama's that were all okay except the pirelli's. The pirelli P400, I think it was, were very hard riding. That was about 10 years ago and will not discount that brand now.
My car is a 93 9000 cde turbo and I would classify my driving as "sporty." By no means do I even approach needing a V or Z rated tire... yet. So, I was thinking I could get away with a "T" rated all season. It's important to me to have good wet/snow/ice/cold traction without going to a snow tire. Then, in order of importance, comfort, tread wear, noise, dry traction, steering response.
Thanks greatly for any comments or advice.
