When I converted to r134a, I pulled my entire system apart for various reasons. I noticed that the anti-frost switch has an adjustment screw with a lock nut. I would imagine (guessing again) that you could pull the switch and immerse its bulb in ice water and set the switch with the adjustment. Personally, I would probably replace it, but in the interest of sharing information I thought I would mention the observation.
