I had a steep bend in the pressure tube that goes to the meter. The bend gradually blocked the tube and the needle became totally frozen.
The bend was on compartment that is behind the foot panel (the lowest "panel") of the drivers side where is the switch for the brake lights, Cruise servo etc etc.
Beware it's messy out there! (Mixed, crossed etc. cables, wires and tubes)...
