How old is the battery? If it's more than two years old, think seriously about replacing it. We did just that after similar symptoms. There is much helpful discussion on the BB that could help you with your decision. It seems that Saab 9K's eat batteries and a change in the voltage drop is an indication of battery weakness. Good luck - Paul
