I have had the car for about 3 years and never cleaned it. I popped the cover off of it and blew into it but I think that I will take it out and give it a good cleaning. I have some tuner cleaner that I will use . I think that I have seen to stay away from things like WD40 in there. But- The weather here in Rochester NY has been warm during the day and has been cold when I get out of work at 4:00am and the blower motor still acts the same.
