I have the Abbott suspension, but my experience may be valid anyway. I had fitted the rear bushes ages (over a year) ago, but left the fronts lying around after talking with Bill Davies and his experience.
Well, I decided to fit them and see - I could always swap them back (but of course, I found what Joe98 found about how "easy" they are to fit!). I did indeed find there is more understeer, after having experienced very neutral handling with just the rear bushes. However, on a couple of test runs, they consistently added a couple of MPH to the speed at which I could do 360 deg. round the Breakspear roundabout (my "road test" roundabout), so you won't hear me complaining about the understeer. Perhaps these bushes need the grip afforded by the Bridgestone S-03s or similar to combat the understeer somewhat. The front end feels tighter too, but the old bushes did look somewhat worn. Mine are SuperFlex, not Abbott, by the way, although the control arm bushes are Abbott.
That speed is just over 40 in the dry, by the way. And I do make sure I only test when there is no traffic around. My CSE can only manage 30 as it squeals its way round on 15" Goodyear Eagles ("Touring", I think).
