I helped install one in a friend's car just recently... It's very straightforward. Used to be a timer determined how long the starter ran, but many systems these days can key into the tach signal to determine with the engine starts running. If you've got a manual transmission, you may be SOL on the 9000 unless you plan to do some serious engineering on the shifter tower to determine when the car is in neutral. If you've got an automatic, no worries. Other than that, it's fairly basic wiring. You'll need a relay to fake the ignition switch being on, then tap into the big white & yellow wire to spin the starter.
