Though, when I bought my '98 Black/Taupe last year, there was an identical one on the lot in Black/Black.

But whenever I see one around town (and there are a lot of them here in CT), they always seem to have the Taupe/Sand Beige interior--actually, most 9K's I see (no matter what year) have that interior. Very few have the Black inside.

FWIW: the Tan interior was used mostly with the Scarabe Green exterior, and had an orange-y look to it. The Sand Beige interior has the beige color to it and was used in most '98's, and the Taupe interior was of a cream/off-white color. I only know this because my '97 had the Taupe, and my '98 has the Sand Beige. And I saw some with the Tan interior.

Todd, there is a '98 stick, Black, for sale in CA. I don't know where you're located. Email me at JOEAF@AOL.COM and I'll give you the details if interested.
