I am currently looking at two Saabs and I can't decide which one to buy. The first is a '97 CSE. It has 60Kkms and is in superb condition. The second is a '97 Aero with 95Kkms and is a little worse for wear cosmetically than the CSE. Both cars run and drive well and are 5 speeds. I am most interested in how the Aero engine's 225 horses compares to the 200 of the CSE in various driving situations. Personally, I found both to be similar of the line in first and second gears under hard acceleration. I only noticed a difference at highway speeds where the Aero seemed to have better pull in third or fourth. Is this an accurate assessment? The CSE is in better condition but I love the Aero seats. Is the performance difference really that pronounced between these two cars and, again, in what situations is it most noticeable? Thanks.
