However very different city mileage. '87 got (city/hwy) 28/32, '95CSE 26/31, '95 Aero 22/31. This is an average. In the winter, city mileage goes down by a couple mpg. Headwinds and tailwinds that are strong (20+mph) are good for subtracting or adding a couple of mpg on hwy.
Interestingly, my actual mpg as measured by US gal in to miles driven, is better than the computed mpg on the dashboard by 1-2mpg. Nonetheless, am using the computed numbers here.
It really seems like the auto tranny should be closer than I'm seeing here to the manual's numbers.
By the way, I do drive in an effort to conserve gas. Mostly. I look ahead and don't accel up to stop, will coast off of freeway, try to time the lights, etc. On the other hand, it is amazing how fast I come up to speed sometimes.... Turbos are too much fun!
