How to remove dash switch

I'm trying to troubleshoot my seat heater, and although the problem is probably in the seat, I want to work thru the process; Step One being 'Remove the heater switch from the dash'. OK, how do you do that? Surely this has been discussed, but a search thru the archives didn't show anything. Maybe it's too obvious, but I don't want to risk breaking what is probably (certainly!) a very expensive part.
TIA,
SteveS
