This really sounds bad...no oil pressure = death.

Are you sure that the oil came out of the dipstick?! If there enough misdirected pressure to force the oil backwards out of the dipstick, then you must have a major constriction (if not a complete blockage) in your oil passages after the pump.

A lack of oil pressure would cause the head and timing components to run VERY loud (I've heared and seen it firsthand on my friend Roman's late, beleaguered '86 9000). This does not necesarily mean that the HEAD has been irreparably damaged (although SOMETHING certainly has).

Either way, if you want to salvage whatever is not damaged, then don't turn the car on again.

IMHO you are looking at three main options:
A major engine overhaul, a new (used) engine, or a new (new or used) car.

When I burned (melted) a valve in my engine, it happened well I was boosting on the highway on a cold night. However the symptom was merely rough running and a loss of power. It didn't lose pressure or puke up oil. In all honesty, your problem sounds much worse than mine.

I hope I'm not being too pessimistic. More importantly, for your sake, I hope that I'm wrong.
