Put in a VDO boost gauge (0-30psi). It has an internal noise.
Sounds like a spring rattling or something. It is very annoying.
It goes away if you step on the gas a bit, or under full boost.
Also under normal acceleration, the needle really doesn't move.
Only when you accelerate hard.
Is this a faulty gauge?
Thanks
