Bypassing alarm/security on 9000s is simple, but does require a bit of technical capability. Here's what to do: Remove glovebox. Set aside. Locate security module. On the module connector there are two yellow wires. Using common practices associated with automotive electrical work, loop (tie) the two wires together. A "scotch lock" works great for this...available from NAPA or an electronics shop (RadioShack). If this is your problem, your SAAB should spring to life. I don't recommend replacing your security module. All it does is make life miserable, and line the dealer's pocket with your money. Don't believe me?...ask your insurance agent when the last time he had a SAAB stolen.
