If the engine seems like it's ignoring your throttle inputs, especially at low rpm, it could be O2 sensor or AMM (depending on year/model/FI system). The O2 sensor doesn't come on-line quickly enough - perhaps the heater isn't working, or the sensor itself is getting tired. The system doesn't use the O2 sensor until it warms up, but it assumes the sensor is warmed up and on-line after a couple of minutes, IF the heater is working. Otherwise, it'll take 10 minutes easy. If the FI system is expecting the O2 sensor to be working, but it isn't, it'll mis-schedule fuel.
