On investigating an annoying squeak coming from the left hand rear door of my 96 9kCS I found that the doormounted switch for the electric window was loose. It appears that two small plastic tabs were broken off with the result that the switch was not being held firmly in position - hence the aforementioned squeak.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need to buy a new switch and if so how much are they? Are there any other solutions (eg Araldite)?

While on the subject of squeaks there is another one which seems to come from the region of the passenger's airbag. Once again, any ideas would be appreciated.

I know these types of problems are rather trivial but are made all the more annoying by the fact that the car is otherwise such a pleasure to drive!
