The 5 speed TCS might be possible to convert if you Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Wed, 19 Mar 2003 09:40:25 In Reply to: Can TCS on a 92 9000t be eliminated/changed to non tc ?, Cort, Wed, 19 Mar 2003 06:51:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
have a donor car of 91-92.
I have never done it nor am I planning to do it. But for a handy DIY with lots of time on his hands it might work.
What worry me though is that the very main wire harness that runs through the whole car have different part number between TCS and non TCS. Usually that means that something is different.
So you might end up ripping the whole dash out together with seats and carpets to be able to do the conversion.
This is only feasible if done yourself, no one could afford a shop to do that on an 11 year old car.
