Hypothetically;
A 9000/auto has a blown head gasket and is probably due for balance shaft and timing chains. Suppose also a spare, known good, B234 is sitting in the garage.
Cost aside, is it easier and faster to change motors or to fix the head gasket and chains of the motor while it is in the car?
