That's the one mod that I do to all my Saabs. The stock bushings are scrap when they're new. I've used Abbotts, which have held up well in 3 different cars.
Changing them varies from easy to moderately difficult, depending on whether or not the existing bushing has rusted on to the wishbone shaft. When they've rusted to the shaft I use a ball joint fork to pry the rubber off and then use a vice grips on the inner bushing.
The longest it's ever taken is 3 hours for both sides.
