Thanks for the quick replies. I replaced ALL motor mounts including the upper torque arm and the trans. mount last year. Also, the problem started after replacing the clutch. Or at least, I noticed the problem after replacing the clutch. It could be, due to the poor clutch engagement prior to replacement, that the problem was already there, I just didn't feel it until all was well with the clutch. The engine is very stable and the shifter moves very little when tapping the gas pedal. Also, it shifts quite smoothly and the clutch feels great too. The front upper engine mount and the trans. mount are Superflex poly. which also helps restrict movement and makes for smoother shifting. CV joints, hubs, and virtually all front suspension bushings we replaced last year.
