Technically a pretty easy job. Figure, like, 2 hours or so. I did this with a manual transmission 93CSET

Quick description:
Jack the car up, remove LF wheel and fender liner.
Place a second jack under a safe part of the transmission housing.

Have an oil drain pan at the ready, as a bit of oil leaks out of the end of the MANUAL tranny after you remove the end cap.

Up jack the end of the tranny until the old mount seems to release, and remove the bolt through the old mount. May take a little up/down to find the right spot. That spot is when the bolt pulls right out easily.

Using a ?13mm? socket and a long extension, crack all of the bolts holding the end cap and the battery negative terminal ground. Now's the time for the oil pan.

I used an electric drill chucked with a socket driver to spin out all of the bolts (saves maybe 10 minutes)

Carefully remove the end cap from the tranny. Its a bit tricky, just take your time and go easy. There is a paper-type gasket you want to preserve at that junction. I set the gasket aside for protection.

On the bench, use a hack saw to cut through the metal ring of the rubber motor mount. Be careful not to cut the aluminum ring of the tranny mount! That would be a bummer. Once the ring is split, bend it in a little with a screwdriver and knock it out.

From here, the rest is pretty obvious. The new mount sets in place, and it goes back together. One tip: To ease installation, slightly bend the tips of the frame "mount holder" out just a bit. It helps the eurethane mount start in easier.

I did the uppers and the tranny mount. The uppers failed pretty quickly, so now I think I am also replacing the uppers and the lowers as well. You might consider replacing them all if you want a much better solution.

Good luck and happy shifting.
Patrick
