Moonroof adjustment Posted by Aerogenous [Email] (#1303) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Aerogenous) on Wed, 4 Jun 2003 10:36:10 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've never paid any attention to the moonroof on my 97. Haven't used it much either. But recently, it started rattling on bumpy roads. Seems the rear edge isn't tight against the roof causing the weatherstrip to make a rubbery sound as it bounces up and down (there's about 3/8" of vertical play). Is this just a matter of adjusting eccentrics (or something) on the moonroof itself? Do you access this by sliding back the trim around the moonroof? Should I just go for a tight fit against the roofor is adjustment of this more tricky than that?
Thanks for people's thoughts.
