Ok, fellow Saabers, here's whats up. My car, a '95 9k CS w/auto (LPT), has lost a lot of power. Coming out of a stoplight or sign, I can floor it and very slowly will it climb up to the normal speed. The wheels don't even spin out at all like the used to. What happens is this: it will start out OK, but then it feels as if somethng is holding it back. Even on the highway, if I floor it, it shift down and everything but the power is not there.

Granted it is the LPT so its not neck-snapping-ly fast but I can tell it's not right. Brought it to my mechanic because I suspected the turbo system but the wastegate checked out OK. I have never switched gas brands or octanes. I'm guessing there is some friggin random hose or switch somewhere that is doin this. I also know that the A/C takes away some hp but it does it even with the a/c off. I'm trying to be as specific as possible so I can give my indy some possible ideas.

THA for your ideas. I am sick of this. A mid-eighties unmodified Camry beat me out of a stoplight and my car was floored!!
