When I installed my JT last year, I put a ton of Anti-seize lube around the mating surfaces of the dp and the turbo. This stuff has a higher heat rating than the copper grease/lube, and when the lubricating solvents burn off (which they will), what's left is a bead of silver (as opposed to copper). I have not had any problems with leaks (knock-on-wood...).

As for the tight area for tigthening, what I use is (all are 13mm):

nut on top: 1/4"-drive socket w/knuckle
nut on bottom facing radiator: average-length closed-end wrench
nut on bottom facing back of engine: long-length closed-end wrench

I always check them from time to time, making sure they haven't loosened.
