I need to let off some steam, since this is totally driving me crazy!

As in my past posts, I was enjoying powerful boost up until the day I replaced my primary O2 sensor and fuel filter. I did the sensor myself, and had the filter replaced at an indie's shop (another fiasco) within the same weekend.

From that point forward: only 5psi boost attainable, once in awhile 16psi, but then right back to 5psi.

Although I never had the fuel pressure tested, I felt it was sensor-related, and my thoughts were correct since 2 weeks later the CEL came on with the same exact codes as was before (P0130, P0133) that led me to replace the sensor in the first place.

I cleaned the BPC, I purchased another (used, 48K miles on it, working condition), and swapped it in, reset the ECU and did an adaptation run, and none of this helped.

I then put in another O2 sensor (I exchanged the new "bad" one for it), had the codes erased, and still there is only little boost.

Couple of questions here:

1) Is there a way to reset the ECU without disconnecting the battery? I tried pulling the 5 amp fuse (Engine systems and diagnostics), left it out all night long, and I don't think it was reset.

2) Could I have another problem that is causing the P0130/P0133 codes? What else is part of the "O2 sensor circuit"?

3) Is the O2 sensor nearest the turbo considered the primary/Bank 1 sensor 1? Could I be having a problem with the one after the cat? This one has had its wires cut and spliced a year ago since I had to re-locate it when I installed my JT back then. Plus, this one is the top-most connector within the metal holder (does that mean it's "sensor 1"?).

4) Could a faulty O2 sensor cause a low- to no-boost issue?

5) If I had a stock ECU (which I don't, I have a BSR re-mapped one for over a year now), is there any possible way I could attain 16psi, even using 93 octane and a 3" exhaust (Garrett T25 with auto)?

I feel like everything I'm doing is not being recognized by the ECU, making me think now that it might be the other O2 sensor.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Joe
