I cannot use the model that I have. 4071742 is the number listed on it. I think that it is out of a 1993. Is there anyway to tell if it is a good unit other than trying it in a car? I bought it for $40 on E-Bay hoping to use it as a spare. I don't want to sell it if I don't know if it works or not.
