Hi Bill
The only way to change to a 1997 system is with a modified harness, which we make and its for the complete system ,not just the radio . The radio alone wont improve the sound or even work good with out the rest of the HK stuff. We do modify the 1997 radio with line out so you can add anything but thats another story.You would have to replace your 1994 system ( radio ,amp cd player etc..) with a HK Aero System. You would need a 1997 cd player and HK Amp and a modified harness.Whould also then dump your current speakers and get the HK Speakers or other speaker upgrades.If you get the HK SPeakers get the grill Assembly with the tuned port and fancy HK Name.
