Hello Everyone, and thanks in advance for your input/aid.

SYMPTOM 1: Intermittent instances of not turning over, especially when hot out. The dash would light up, and all I would get is a "click", and then nothing (everything was still lit on the dash, though). Here's the bizarre part: I would get under the hood, wiggle the positive/red cable, and VIOLA, it would start up upon turning the key? NOTE: when this happened, my voltage readings would be as low as 10.1 volts.

SYMPTOM 2 Periodically while driving the car would hitch and, instantaneously, everything would cut off-and-on (flicker). Whenever this happened, the "anti lock brake" indicator would illuminate and stay on for the duration of my trip. Upon re-starting the car, everything would go back to normal. I should NOTE: There were some instances upon terminating a trip where this occurred, my alarm would go off upon locking my doors, which would sometimes take multiple attempts before all four would lock. Also, I would have to re-set my clock and/or re-key my stereo code.

I took her to my local SAAB mech, whom I'd heard was quite good/trustworthy. He could not fix my problem, though he had heard of Saab's behaving similarly (my contrary girl was well behaved the whole day I left her with him...figures, huh?)

She carried on this way for a few months until one day I tried to start her after she had sat for about 3 days. The voltage reading on this day was 8.4. Needless to say, she would not start without a jump. This lead me to conclude that I needed a new battery. HA!!! The symptoms I described above disappeared for a few weeks. However, Symptom 2 surfaced about a week ago. Today, She sits in front of my house, dead as a door knob. PLEASE HELP ME.
