it out on a good flat surface next to the new chain for comparison. If it weren't such a critical application of power transferr we could run the thing x times longer. I always am impressed by the simplicity and reliability of roller chain from some of the tiniest to the giant size I have ever seen ( Doc's colonoscope by Olympus: big knobs the doc's hands operate to bend and steer the tip so to see around, uses tiny chain (smallest I have ever seen)from the knob gear a short length to establish torque transfer to very small S.S. cable which goes to the tip 1500cm away like a car door mirror adjustment mover.
