All rotors are cast iron. Nothing exotic there.
All rotors these days are turned on automated CNC lathes which also provide for the best controls over dimesional accuracy.
I have not seen any evidence that there are any bad after market rotors anywhere.
So seeling the best plain rotor seems like a contradicion of terms.
Some OEM rotors are plated and the non swept areas will resist rust, if that cosmetic detail is important.
EBC greenstuff pads have good performance. But need to be bedded in agressively to burn off some of the organics. And it seems that there can be problems if not subjected to some routine agressive braking. There can be uneven deposits of organics to the rotor that can feel like warping. If bedded in right and then the braking and pad wear are under mild condtions, organic rich material can be exposed at the pad surface and a single sudden braking event can create uneven oranic deposits. If you know what is happening, when this occurs, you can do some egressive braking and burn that off and things are good again. Perhaps not the right pad for everyone. Some will claim that these pads warp their rotors, but that is total nonsense. If an uneven deposit occurs on the rotors and that is ignored, there can be uneven heating and that could lead to real warping. I did say that perhaps these pads were not for everyone. This problem is not unique to EBC pads and will be an issue with any organic rick pad with Kelvar or other such materials. Kelar and such pads are 'cohesive' and other pads are strickly abrasive. Abrasive pads are safe for all drivers of any knowledge level. Lots of dust and rotor wear, but no deposit 'warping' effects from organic components. Can't get best of both worlds.
