Thanks for all the helpful info! I'm thinking of buying a component set for the front (separate tweeters) and replacing the rears with two-ways like you said. I just want it to sound its best where I'm sitting, don't really care about how it sounds from the back seat <g>. If I understand you correctly, this means that, to each of the front speakers, there's simply two leads and a crossover in-line and near the actual speakers to feed the appropriate frequency range to each driver? And the same goes for the rear drivers? I didn't know there were 8 speakers in this setup! This fine piece of machinery is full of nice surprises!
