My failed DI did't have anything wrong when I took the cover off and checked the oil levels,,, So don't always believe that if oil level is ok in coil packs then the DI is ok.
Also there was no burned electronics smell when the last failure occured.
The rest of the components are sealed inside somekind of epoxy moulding, but as far as I can tell there seems to be atleast one electrolytic capasitor. As anyone who knows a bit of electronics can tell that those components do not like temperature...
So my conclusion: There are also other components than the coils that can fail in DI casette and the decent/even oil levels on coil packs doesn't neccessarily indicate a properly working DI casette.
In the other hand quite many 9000'ists here have indicated that if there is a variation on oil levels then the DI is bad - this is most probably the case.
