a write up of the pad replacement procedure. Replacing the rotors is just a screw and a bolt (the wheel alignment pin) to remove the rotor once the pads are off. And, while I agree with Sled that brakes are important, the procedure is straight forward and not difficult. Keep things clean and pay attention to details and you should be fine.
