Greasy film on windows. (Please not the heater core!)

So I have been driving this 90 9000 Turbo with 100K miles for a few months now, and have noticed that occassionally I get a greasy film on the windshield/windows. It usually happens after I drive it till it is warm to work, and park it for the day and when I get in to leave, it has condensed on the windshield mostly. I am assuming that this is a result of evaporating water and antifreeze that condenses as the car cools off. It is not that bad, but I am concerned that I will need a new heater core. What do you guys think, and how much is this going to cost me? Can I last the winter as long as I make sure the coolant level is fine? I know heater cores are fairly inexpensive, but the labor is the real problem as it takes hours to get to it. Thanks
