Sometimes when the one way ratchet style tensioner is just on the brink of moving over to the next tooth, it can create some slack in the chain, and the tensioner is moving back and forth only held in place by the oil pressure.
When I answered you last time I thought you were doing the chain and sprockets on a 2.3L engine (not the bullet proof 2.0L). As you can understand I don't have time to back search and figure out what year/model car the poster have, so to make it easier it's good if you post the year/model like you did in this post.
With that little wear (indicated by the tensioner) I wouldn't worry at all, but since you are on a mission to replace it anyway I would go with the guides and chain (sprockets usually not needed).
