to remove the valve body to get to the kickdown cable. I was quoted around $300 for the cable.
As for the TCS, the stealer wants to play with his TECH2 at $90 an hour for an unknown amount of hour with NO garantee on finding the faults ...
Anders, I tried but the lack of know how and greed are away out of my ligue.
I plan on reparing the KDW cable myself once the weather warms up. In the mean time life is still possible (in the fast line) without ABS and TCS.
With a broken KDW cable, all I am missing is the downshift D-->3 when overtaking or passing, I just do it manually.
It takes a couple of minute for TCS to realize that my ABS sensor is disconnect before displaying TCS CTRL red light (which is good in my case)
I will repair these mild items when weather permits (April).
