5:2 ABS Mark IV, from Saab. IIRC, the Haynes only covers the early system and the one with the accumulator, used on the TCS vehicles. Sounds like there's still air, somewhere, in your system. There's a special procedure used to bleed if the master cylinder has been changed.
I fabricated my own 'break-out box' that works great and cost thousands of dollars less than what saab got for the 'official' version. It's only slightly 'invasive' and does the job! Also, make sure bleeding at the wheels is done in the following sequence: r-h front wheel, l-h rear wheel, l-h front wheel, and r-h rear wheel. If you can't tell from the picture, the 'breakout box' is simple: appropriately colored wires soldered to common pins and an aligator clip! By removing the rubber shroud from the connector to the ABS computer, the wires needing to be 'jumped' are exposed - it allows one to open the various valves on the distribution block of the ABS unit.
