2nd DI failure on '94 9000Aero

Going to work on the Highway yesterday, the engine just died with no warning at all. Called my wife to pick me up in the middle of nowhere, went home, removed the DI(black) from my wife's 2000 9-5 and went back, installed it and started right up and drove it home.
1st DI gave out at 98K miles started misfiring. (I can live with that)
2nd DI gave out at 56K miles no warning. (I can not live with this)
Actually, on the 9-5's the DI's are giving out as low as 30K miles.
Saab really needs to fix this, they have had this problem for over 13 years and it is getting worse. Granted the environment is not the best for electronics, but that is no excuse with the technology that we have today.
Yes, I use right NGK spark plugs and check the gap every 6K miles.
The good news, at least if you are in a pinch, is that you can use the black DI in place of the red one at least to get it home.
