Blower motor replacement was.......EASY?!?!?

I've had my replacement blower motor and fan controller for at least 3 months, but I just hadn't got myself to do it yet...
The motor was screaming and squealing and I couldn't take it anymore...
This weekend I got down to it, In a cold barn with lots of space, decent lighting and a warm jump suit...
The whole job took me less two and a half hours, despite frequent trips inside to warm up and drink some fine blended scotch( hey it was cold)
I've heard so many hour stories about this job, so I was very pleasantly suprised when it went so quickly and smoothly.
My only advice/strategy would be, make sure you have plenty of space and lay out the things you take off in a orderly fashion and don't be shy about getting on that engine. Some people mention standing on the engine, which I did, but I also found myself laying prone on it a lot.
Also, I used one of those headband mounted lights, it definitely helped out and I would recommend one for any job, no matter how well lit the place is.
