...Had a set of 4 fitted very recently. Kwik-Fit (UK) are doing a price match offer at the moment, and I was very pleased to get all 4 for £340 fitted and balanced (they were originally asking £130 a corner before I talked them down...a saving of £180 on a set of 4 shows you just how much mark-up they must have!!)
Anyway, apart from 4 attempts to get my tracking sorted, my steering wheel is still off centre, and driving me up the wall - I will sort that this week.
Tyres are great - grip like nothing else if you settle gently into a corner, and are very very impressive on some of our motorway slip roads that get tighter and tighter - my bottle runs out before the tyres do. In the wet they are great, and feel very simlar to the Toyo-Proxes T1-S I had on in the past. Cut through standing water incredibly well, with no steering tug or aquaplaning at all. A little less road noise than the P6000s I have just ditched, but maybe a slightly firmer ride (stiffer side-wall?)
Yet to be able to comment on wear, but along with a new set of front pads (standard Textar), car feels renewed. I am always impressed by just how strong standard 9000 brakes are. I was going to try some Pagid fast road pads, but not really worth it without uprated discs, as they need a lot of heat.
I can safely say that, after yesterday in the UK and 5 inches of snow in 2 hours, they are absolutely the worst snow tyres I have ever had the misfortune to try (surprise surprise...)
