I believe the 93's have larger wheelwells than previous years... But I think he's right in saying 205 is the limit.
Consider what you're after. There is no reason to go larger than 16" wheels. Racers know that little wheels are fast. First, it takes a lot of energy to accelerate a rotating mass, so you want the wheel/tire to be as light as possible for acceleration. Tires are lighter than wheels, so you get better acceleration with a small wheel and big tire. This combination will also give your expensive wheel much more protection from potholes. It's true that a lower-profile tire will have less sidewall flex, but it is not enough of a difference to be worthwhile in my opinion. Probably not even enough to notice especially if you still have rubber bushings if your suspension. If you really want serious acceleration, keep the 15" wheels and put lower-profile tires on them. It will lower you gearing. It might also allow you to cheat and put on some slightly fatter tires.
It would be nice if you could go wider, but it won't gain you anything in everyday driving. 205 is more than enough unless you're autocrossing. As for diameter... there's no advantage to a bigger wheel, and the advantage to a larger total diameter would be better mileage, _not_ better performance. Big wheels and rubber-band tires are for looks, not speed.
Also- the folks on the performance board might have more info about this.
