you will not be able to find a paper gasket anymore, saab changed protocol in favour of Loctite 518 Anaeobic sealant. Loctite 518 these days is now Permatex Anaerobic gasket maker #51813, found at most auto stores. It is in a blue tube but is in fact red.
Clean both surfaces perectly, use gasoline or brake cleaner. Apply the stuff to one side, small bead of it. Try not to move the cover around too much. It will squish out, but hte great thing about this stuff is that the excess on the inside will just mix with the oil, as it is anaeobic. Do not be scared about the excess on the outside not drying...it won't. You can leave it oozed out or use a solvent to getthe excess.
steve
PS i wish I knew if this stuff could be used forthe sump.
