Well,
I'm resolved to tackle this issue. I'm convinced that coolant is getting into the exhaust, because the exhaust smells sweet (Very faintly).
Thanks for the advise.
I found the car on the east coast, but I'm in CA. (The colder part, with lots of snow...yes, it happens...and no, I will never assert that it is cold here compared to some other parts of the country.)
My car is a 5-speed (I don't think I could handle an auto yet. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that auto-loaders are bad, I just like the interaction I am afforded with a manny-tranny. Not to mention the HP difference on Aeros w/out 5-Speeds. The seats, however, just might be enough to get me into any Aero, at any time of the day, and read a book.)
I do think I got a great deal on it, even if I do have to flush, clean and replace a few parts in the coolant system. It is seriously in greaat shape, and the previous owner was good about maintenance, although I wouldn't be suprised if it had the same coolant in it for more than a couple of years.
Wow, I just rambled about everything from weather to leather seats. Sorry, but I'll leave it in there.
Thanks again,
Peter
