Daren is correct, try all the easy cures first, the wheel sensors can also become messed up and are worth looking into before you go replacing a tb. A tech II or isat can be helpful, but the best way to solve the tcs is to find a shop that actually knows what they are doing(many don't, or just don't care enough to fix and not replace) The red and white/black and white valve(depends if you have an old or new one) does not cause a tcs problem. Mine was shot and it caused hesitation at about 3000rpms but I fixed my tcs problems prior to replacing the valve.
