Been away for a while, but now a big repair set...

Hate to admit it, but I've been away from the board for a while, what with work and a growing family and all. Both the 91cdt and the 93CSE have been running well (until tonight that is).
I lost the idler pulley and serp belt in the 93. I also know the water pump and head gasket are leaking, sooo, I figured its time to tear into the 93 with a vengeance. I'm thinking of doing the whole job at once; Headgasket set, timing chain, H20 pump, belts pulleys, hoses, front main seal, oil pump seal, and a whole bunch of other stuff including filters and poly front and rear suspension bits. Just did the brakes, and the interior climate control needs a new servo and cabin temp sensor. Don't get me started on the exhaust system.
My question is: Is there anything else within the motor I should be thinking about? Do the balance chains/gears or timing drive gears wear badly on the 93's? Is there anything else that should probably be done on the top end of the motor? I'd really only like to open it up once.
Also, is there any good site or previous posting about R&Ring the timing cover? That's one I'm not familiar with.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Patrick
