I have an 89 saaab 9k trb that died on me yesterday because what I thought was a bad alternator, I just finished installing a good alternator from one of my other saabs 9000 and I m still getting about 10v inside the car and using a meter on the batt cables.the batt light is on,do I unplug the single wire on the alt and see if it has any vlt with ignition on,what else should I check and how,Thanks
