The return line fitting is black and has a one-way valve. For reasons known only to SAAB, it is not available as a separate part. However, the supply line has a white fitting with a one way valve in the opposite direction that is available from a SAAB dealer or from eEuroparts for about $7. The one way valves snap out of both fittings and can be swapped so you can make up a white return fitting with the right valve polarity that is exactly the same as the original.
The real problem is inserting the new fitting into the line. There are several previous postings on this procedure. Some recommend a heat gun, but I have found that the plastic has a very narrow temperature softening range and can be easily burned at temperatures lower than it takes to soften PVC. The way that a number of people recommend is to use a flaring tool to hold the plastic tube and force the barbed fitting into the held tubing. I could not get mine to insert into the final barb, but since it is the retun line, there is little back pressure, so this really isn't a problem. However, on the supply side, I would be more concerned if the fitting was not fully seated.
