I didn't have a choice in the matter as the dealer I got the car from last Sept. put a new set on the car to go on the 16" Aero wheels.
I only put a maybe 3K on them before I switched to my snows, but they seem OK. Decent (but not great) in rain and fine in dry. They are 55 series but the ride isn't a whole lot different than on my Dunlop snows--just crisper. Steering response is nice. They nibble more than I like on uneven surfaces, like when the road is abraded for resurfacing, has a lot of patches, or on metal bridge decks --they definitely give a LOT of road feel.
Can't really tell how they wear yet, but they are V-rated so I doubt I'll get more than 25K out of them. But I don't commute so it's not a huge issue dollar-wise.
Dealer said these were a second choice in his mind. He put them on my car because he had them on hand. He likes a couple of the Continentals better (not sure which--maybe Extreme Contact) but didn't have them on hand.
