true that. I has this problem for three years on the original turbo. Rarely did it in teh winter, but quite often in Summer after sitting in traffic for long periods of time.
THe turbo still boosted full pressure, just the seals were getting tired.
Try a heavier oil as Steet says and monitor the difference. It would be worth cleaning out the large PCV hose that heads down to the inlet. In the winter I get a lot of consdensation in that hose overnight and after a few months its gets gummy with that gross looking cream mixture of oil and water.
